Hail comes through North Texas and leaves a roof that looks fine from the driveway. We get on it, write down what is actually up there, and run the insurance claim from the first inspection to the completion certificate.
Full-service claim management
Most people meet the claims process exactly once, under a tarp, in the week after a storm. We are in it every week. Here is the whole sequence, so you can see where you are in it at any point.
Someone gets on the roof before a single form is filed. We photograph the slopes, the flashing, the vents and the soft metal, and we write down what we find whether it helps the claim or not.
The claim goes in with the documentation attached, so the adjuster is reading evidence rather than a phone call. Filing early matters: carriers put deadlines on storm claims.
Our staff includes certified adjusters. They read the carrier's scope line by line and argue the items that were missed, which is the part most homeowners have no way to do alone.
The build runs on our schedule and our crews. Tear-off, dry-in and finish, with the site cleaned down each evening because you still have to live there.
We walk the finished work before you are asked to sign anything, and we fix what the walk turns up rather than adding it to a punch list you have to chase.
The paperwork the carrier needs to release the final payment goes out from us, in the format they want it, so the file closes instead of sitting open.

On the roof
Free inspection, and the write-up comes with it. A hail bruise that reads as nothing from the driveway can still have broken the mat, and the only way to know is to be up there. If the roof has years left, that is what we will tell you.
Staging
Bundles land where they are needed, the trailer sits on the drive rather than the lawn, and the ground gets protected before anything comes off the roof. Storm work is disruptive enough without a yard full of debris.
Dry-in
Synthetic underlayment goes down the same day the deck is exposed. Decking gets replaced where it is soft rather than shingled over, because the deck is the part nobody sees and the part everything else is nailed to.
Finish
Asphalt, metal, tile, decra, clay, concrete, wood or Spanish-style, set to the manufacturer's spec so the manufacturer's warranty survives. Full workmanship warranty from us on top of it.
The whole book of work

TPO, modified bitumen, metal, and tar-asphalt-gravel, chosen for what the building's own structure argues for rather than what is quickest to sell.
Claims
Full-service claim management end to end, with certified adjusters on staff. This is the specialism, not an add-on.
Exteriors
Gutters sized to the roof area feeding them, siding and windows detailed around the water path, plus fencing, garages and retaining walls.
Interiors
Painting, drywall, texture, flooring, windows and ventilation, matched to what is already there so a repair does not read as a patch.
Commercial build-out
Waterproofing, cabinetry and restroom upgrades, full demolition and layout change, hardscaping. Liability and workers' compensation carried, plus a bond.

Since 1998
Mark Andrew Gros founded MAG Builders in 1998, in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on the back of forty years of custom building. He spent fourteen of those years teaching his oldest son, Shawn, the family trade.
Shawn moved to Texas and went deep into storm restoration, and rose into leadership at some of the largest construction and restoration companies in the country. Then in June 2013 Mark died suddenly of an unexplained heart condition.
Shawn relaunched his father’s company in Texas, carrying the same three initials. That is why this is a custom-building firm that specialises in storm damage: one half of the business is what Mark taught, and the other half is what Shawn went and learned.
